Retail Supply Chain Management

Barcode Advisory ServiceThe allocation of a number and the standards are organised by GS1 organisations established in most countries. Having obtained a number this has to be converted into a barcode. These are printed from a digital image or symbol generated on photographic film. Standards must be adhered to for the symbol to be read accurately. Ensure if your supply is from a printer that has accurate quality control equipment. Printing conditions and material have to be catered for. To obtain a symbol image contact barcodes@axicon.com or visit  www.axicon.com

If you wish to print you own barcodes using a self adhesive label printer, we can recommend CAB printers or use a reputable supplier who has quality control equipment. Contact us for specifications and advice.

In Supply chain the outer packages are required to have a variety of data encoded. This information can easily be encoded incorrectly. If you do not have your own quality control equipment, contact us for further advice.
